A DAY IN THE LIFE

Faculty and Staff greet students as they enter the building. Free breakfast is available for all students.

This is an intentional time built into the beginning of each day. Teachers lead students through social emotional discussion using various techniques that centers the students and prepares them for a day of learning.

The morning learning block looks different depending on the age and grade level of the student. We provide wrap-around learning strategies to ensure every student is supported. There is no cookie cutter model and we are constantly adapting and learning how to best serve our students.

Our students enjoy 30 minutes of lunchtime to pause during the school day and engage with their classmates socially. We encourage this engagement and interaction between peers, as the development of the whole child relies heavily on their ability to learn and grow amongst each other.

Like morning block, each grade has a catered menu of learning opportunities. Along with our core subjects, students are exposed to a breadth of related arts classes (PE, Visual Arts, STEM, Media)

This is the time where the teacher and students close out their day. This culture creates an environment where students feel empowered, safe and want to share common healthy dialogue.

As our day concludes, we provide extra-curricular activities along with tutoring support throughout the year. This includes clubs and activities that students show interest in along with our athletics program.
