Dr. Tihesha Henderson
Founder | Executive Director
Dr. Henderson is a culture transformation expert who develops leaders who think strategically, builds systems, leads people and achieves organizational results.
Annette Murdock-Wooldridge
Director of Educator Development
Annette Wooldridge is Director of Educator Development where she leads equity-centered instructional coaching and professional learning. She focuses on K–6 instruction, MTSS, and teacher leadership to ensure rigorous, joyful learning for all students.
Laurie Hargrove
Head of School
Ms. Hargrove came to Sankofa in 2021 as the Assistant Head of School. She developed in her leadership and became the Head of School in 2024 and provides the day to day leadership at Sankofa.
Eldridge Chism
Director of Student Supports
Mr. Chism developed through Sankofa starting as Special Education Teacher and growing into the Assistant Head of School back in 2024. Today he leads all student services on campus.
Peter Jurgen Meyer
Director of Operations
Mr. Meyer made the transition from a charter network in Seattle to support the opening of Sankofa back in 2020. As a career operational leader, he provides the framework for all non-instructional components of the campus while refining sustainable systems.
Amy Clifton
Instructional Coach
Ms. Clifton was a founding teacher at Sankofa and rose into a coaching position due to her incredible performance in the classroom. She supports all grades with a concentration in pedagogy.
